Spanish traveler and writer, Miquel Silvestre was born in Denia in 1968. After approving an opposition to property registrar being the number one in his promotion and when he had been earning a comfortable living in an office for several years, a motorcycle accident made him rethink everything. He took a leave of absence from work and went with a friend to Africa to help him with a collaboration and development project. There he came across the adventure of his life: a BMW R80 GS of the year 92.
An old motorcycle but barely used by its owner. Determined to make her his, He made her an offer you can't refuse and spent the next nine months of her life, and his leave of absence, getting to know the African continent on the back of this classic motorcycle On his return to Spain he wrote One million rocks, his first travel book that soon became a cult book among lovers of travel literature and showed Miquel the path to follow. He definitively left the office and dedicated himself body and soul to conquering his dream: travel the whole world with the only company of his motorcycle, and become a writer thanks to it.
