Monarch butterflies

For: Javier Brandoli (text and photos)
In a creek, surrounded by pine forests and milkweed, descending a path of dirt and rock. First are shadows, invisible flaps, motion without sound. Then they appear in a group, some, stirring the air. Finally, Where the heat and food abound they appear by the thousands, by tens of thousands to millions. Monarch butterflies, in Sierra Chincua, Michoacán, Mexico. Nature without fences or borders. From Canada to Mexico, alien to the rules of man.

For: Javier Brandoli (text and photos)
North shows its history with the high forehead, knowing that their kings were great and that his story is beautiful. The south is primtivo, their ancestral tribes are, frozen in time. Kenya, ten images

For: Javier Brandoli (text and photos)
A coastline of white sand and blue sea, a decrepit train and wonderful sailing time, some parks where the senses never rest, a cosmopolitan capital, sulfur lake water, some tribes of the Pleistocene, some crop fields where everything grows, a painful urban poverty and cheerful people and capable. Kenya could be the country that best sums Africa.

His reputation is deserved, It is charged in howls of hyenas and mud footsteps of eternal herds of ungulates. The Great Migration is the natural spectacle more imposing than ever beheld.

Zambia, ten images
For: Javier Brandoli (text and photos)

In the parks of Zambia is heard and contemplated the lions in their hunting and nap routines. Animals seem to own everything, of a nature that borders on perfeccción. Kenya and Tanzania are perhaps most spectacular and filled with wildlife parks, but Zambia did my favorite safaris, especially in the fabulous Lower Zambezi and South Luangwa.

Zimbabwe, ten images
For: Javier Brandoli (text and photos)

Zimbabwe is dust and stone. A country almost dead, a ghost that survives by inertia, for wild. His field is cruel, nice, messy. Zimbabwe is the Africa of yesterday. Its people are cultured and friendly but in their faces you can sense the disenchantment of everything that they are not allowed to be.. Zimbabwe kills itself in its past without knowing if it will be born again.
