Top 7 / Caribbean havens

For: Daniel Landa

To compensate for the cold of the last Top 7, let's change of scenery. Yes, I know, that mania associated with the Caribbean Paradise, there are so many Edens around the world, such a variety of places to be in limbo. But indestructible topics, Post living with them is impossible not to think, at least a moment: "What if I leave everything to settle here?"The phrase is usually topped with a mental dip in the turquoise waters of the Caribbean. What follows is 7 tempted to call it quits, but make no mistake, all return, nobody stays forever in paradise.

1.-The Island of Birds Laughing (Belize)

Part of the cays of Belize, an archipelago of tiny islands, of white sand, with space for a home without neighbors. Belize also has the second largest coral reef in the world after the Australian. The name is suggestive: "The island of birds that laugh" and no wonder you laugh pelicans, is, descojonar must be thinking of crows flying over the edge of Alaska.

2.-Roatan (Honduras)

Roatan is the island resort of Honduras. It has the charm of the smaller keys but has wide beaches and green waves. It is an accessible, ordered, with dolphins for children and trips to the ocean floor to see turtles and coral. It is perhaps the most familiar version of the Caribbean.

3.-Cancun (Mexico)

Some might say it's crowded. Certain. It is packed with hotel resorts. Certain. That night we hear more songs from Shakira rancheras. Also true. But if one looks at the blue sea almost radioactive means the pleasure of bathing in a unique. Addition, Cancun is the colonial, more hidden, but reminds us of this place Mexican globalized.

There are topics indestructible, Post living with them is impossible not to think: "What if I leave everything to settle here?"The phrase is usually topped with a mental dip in the turquoise waters of the Caribbean

4.-Morrocoy Keys (Venezuela)

Here I discovered the concept of islands, beaches. A sand cay, without palm trees, so small that it seems a joke amid the emerald water. There are other islands accessible only by boat. Some are full of people, but who knows search is your place for only a green horizon.

5.-San Blas (Panama)

We have to hurry, San Blas because it has become fashionable. The Indians have opened their doors to foreign cane and the only runway of the archipelago begins to be inadequate. It is best reached by boat. I did it in a sailboat, to land in a garden inhabited by the Kuna, surrounded by starfish, shells and palm trees and other green display in the Caribbean Sea.

6.-Cayos Cochinos (Honduras)

This is the part of the Honduran Caribbean less worn by credit cards. On the islands of Cayos Cochinos Garifuna live consolidating the topic of people without clocks, hammock between two palm trees. It is a region of fishermen, where children go to school in boats, from beach to beach, and the visitor, often happens, Robinson Crusoe feel before returning to a hotel in your motor.

7.-Playa Blanca (Colombia)

Playa Blanca left me a green color in the retina, the power of that sea. It has the virtue of being very accessible. Many tourists arrive by boat. We went by car and need two hours of dirt roads to access a corner where the palm trees lean into the water as on calendars. If enclosed, have a poster of Playa Blanca in cell, to emphasize the contrast.

What we have left ..?

Next to nothing, only all the Antilles. The truth is that this selection was made from a trip to Central America, by continental zones. So we have not included, they deserve, beaches Cuba, corners of Jamaica, the Bahamas and those paradises of the Dominican Republic. The good news is that there continues to be a thousand places Adam, an Eve, one to be lucky.
