First Travel Masters in Journalism
Travel journalism is a gap in university classrooms. In February next year the Department of Communication and Education and the Autonomous University of Barcelona (Ltd.) will launch the first Master in Journalism Travel in Spain. This pioneering experience in our country, scholars led by Jose Manuel Perez Tornero and James Weaver, consist of a theoretical-practical course focused on content production in the field of journalism, tourism and cultural heritage.
In its first version, the program will involve travelers and explorers recognized, Experts in travel narrative, organizations specializing in the organization and development of thematic expeditions, agencies and companies in the sector, and journalists who have made travel in an authentic philosophy of life.
