Monterey: This sardinas ira
American author John Steinbeck described a Monterey canneries and brothels, of hustlers and young people seeking the American dream. The Californian city, to what is seen, he took it with a sense of humor and does not seem to hold a grudge: docks baptized with the name of one of his novels, “Cannery Row”.
