This is the end of the world. Across the sea strip, The Great Island of Diomedes is located. It belongs to Russia and marks the confines of the easternmost part of the planet. On this side, A camera operator contemplates the Bering Strait from the small island of Diómedes, which belongs to the United States and is the westernmost territory in the world. Between both islands crosses the invisible line of world date change. The photograph is taken on Wednesday on the island of this part while it was Thursday on the island that is seen in the background.
