Mariano Germain-Coley (Miami)
For almost a week, from 4 December, Miami is full of exhibitions, rooms, concerts and events to celebrate the largest art fair in the world. Photography, sculpture, painting, young artists, devoted, critical, much criticism, everything to do. To give you idea, This is how Arco, PhotoEspaña and more, all together.
There are tents, galleries and events in South Beach, Midtown, Design District y Downtown. Everyone who has something to show these days is space.
Although yes, is much to look at and little to buy unless you have a pocket at the height of an American Express Black, Visa Gold here is poor.
But hey, Sometimes shopping is less and enjoy what is most important because the same thing you take a glass of wine with Demi Moore at your side as you walk between photographs of Vietnamese artists enjoy a free concert by La Mala Rodriguez and Kinki with Iggy Pop having a drink sitting on a chair, less than one meter, in a warehouse full of graffiti.
I hope to tell you something more next week. Until then, Happy Turkey Day, this week is Thanks Giving and everyone has four holidays.
