Ricardo Coarasa (Kibale Forest)
Follow the trail of the chimpanzees in the wild among the lush jungle forest of Kibale, in western Uganda, is a unique experience. Primates shun you, throw you off from the branches of the ficus for more than twenty meters high, around you and, finally, resigned, sit and watch you. Then disappear as if by magic and, from deep in the tangle of trees and lianas, shrill cries coming retreating. It's the chilling sound of the jungle.
