-Why travel to Mozambique?
-Because it has one of the most beautiful coastlines in the world.
-Because the Gorongosa National Park has a spectacular landscape, authentic fauna and has very little tourism.
-Because Maputo is one of the most pleasant and charming African capitals.

-In addition to natural beauty, what makes this trip special?
-There are many very beautiful places in the world. Very beautiful places with hardly any tourism, and that still retain their authenticity, there aren't that many anymore. Mozambique is a privilege to discover in this sense.
-The country has a second peculiarity: it eats very well! The Portuguese heritage is felt in the food. A crab killer, a peri peri chicken, its tasty seafood, the samosas...

-Is it an adventure?
-Mozambique is always a challenge. The discomfort of certain roads, a bad air system, few advanced infrastructures... is what means that the spectacular country has not been devastated by the avalanche of mass tourism that is beginning to affect the environment.

-Why go with VAP?
-Because we lived there for three years. Even the designer of the route has written one of the few books about the country in Spanish, The African Macondo. It's not just about seeing and photographing, It is also about explaining and discussing the countries we are going to..

-Is it a large group bus full of tourists?
-We only organize trips of maximum 8 people and two cars. We accompany clients on a journey shared by all.
–Is there a possibility of going on other dates than those marked between 24 May and 7 June?
-Not. We organize a single trip with the marked dates. Is there any other Spanish agency, whose directors have lived in Mozambique for years, which operates there all year round and we find it recommendable: Mozambique Experience.
-Why do we include South Africa??
-Because from Maputo the border is 100 kilometers and we think it is a very good complement to visit another great park such as Kruger. We also lived in South Africa for two years. Blyde River Canyon is also worth a visit.

-Isn't Kruger National Park very touristy?
-What is. It also has the peculiarity that some roads are asphalt within the park.. But that does not mean that it has spectacular landscapes and, course, perhaps the most complete fauna of all the parks on the continent.
-Why don't we go to one of the private reserves around the Kruger?
-Although there are some fantastic, private reserves have, in our opinion, less magic. Being closed spaces, The guides often have the most impressive animals located. In the Kruger NP there are times when 24 hours you contemplate the famous big five, and other times you leave the park without having seen certain felines. And we believe that that is the spirit of safaris.

-What should I do to sign up for the route??
-Write us an email to vap@viajesalpasado.com to speak with us by phone beforehand.. We prefer to have a first direct contact before anyone books anything so that whoever signs up for these adventures knows exactly what is coming.. Group spirit and having a common expectation is key to achieving our purpose.: what a great trip!
-Where can I find all the detailed trip information?
-Punctured here
