Title: From Heaven Lake
Author: Vikram Seth
Sentence: "Sometimes I think that vague for the world only to collect material for future nostalgia".
Critical Vap: The dreams of a traveler can find a finger in an uncomfortable cab of a truck. "From the Lake of Heaven" takes us into a journey in which purely descriptive elements are mixed with social and political reflections. The author, an Indian university, explains their complicated journey, made by hitchhiking, which aims to reach the unknown and mythical Tibet. His plan is to leave Nanjing (in China), cross the province of Sinkiang, crossing the Lake of Heaven, reach Lhasa, visit Nepal and return to his native Delhi. The book explains in detail the external and internal travel difficult, without falling into endless descriptions of landscapes, and delving into interesting reflections of an Indian who can not see through the eyes of a Westerner in the Eastern environment is lost. A lesson in this regard.
It is a book that inspires a way to travel, to understand the silence of the unknown route, to lose your fear to seek help, to overcome the many difficulties that invents the way.
