The three best "classics" of Patagonia

Perito Moreno, Bariloche Torres del Paine, three places in Patagonia that no one travel to this beautiful southern region may be lost. By Gerardo Bartolomé

First let me clarify that it is unfair to take only three places in Patagonia to declare the best. But, in honor of people who plan to travel to Patagonia from afar and maybe do it once, I decided to elect them three places to meet essential characteristics:

  1. 1-They are fantastic. The impact. Come back with them in the retina and heart.
  2. 2-That are feasible. That can reach them even for travelers who have little time.
  3. 3-What are icons. Who are so. Who already know and dream with them since before the trip.
  4. 4-Which is suitable for all travelers. For the very adventurous and for the very "easygoing". For all.

For that reason it should try to "Classics Patagonia". To do justice to the many other places in Patagonia that are as fantastic as these I will make another selection of Patagonia "unknown". It will be places for those who already know the Patagonia and want to know places with fewer people and be surprised. Finally we also introduce another selection of animals of Patagonia, as there are people traveling from afar, not to know a place, but to see an iconic animal: Whale, Penguins, elephant seals, the condor and several other.

Today we solve the riddle of "The 3 Best Classics Patagonia ":

Perito Moreno Glacier

This huge mass of ice is a messenger from the distant past when the world was very different. It's great from every point of view: nice, enormous, in a breathtaking setting, it is about and every so often the thunder of a large release reminds us that the mole is alive and moves. The traveler can spend hours watching ecstatic. You can also walk on the ice and go through the side of the wall of ice.
I have known glaciers in many parts of the world. I can say without doubt that the Perito Moreno is the most shocking of all.

Torres de Paine

If the Perito Moreno is admiration, Towers of Paine are action. Easy and difficult hikes. Peaks in unexpected ways, flowing rivers, salt ponds, narrow gorges and glaciers as well as celestial rooms where travelers will be greeted with the typical warmth of Chile.

Bariloche

The well-known tourist destination in northern Patagonia. One of the few places where you will find a large population but also isolated corners. It has attractions for all seasons. There are activities like skiing or rafting that make up the most restless, luxury hotels to the most demanding, sailing for those seeking peace and the best food in the region.

There is more to Patagonia ... Merry Christmas to all readers of VaP.!
