Freedom: Men of water and flying boats

For: Daniel Landa

It's called Freedom and his name is written with water. I have no idea how many people have * because they are always moving, searching for the Ocean. El Salvador is the only Central American country without windows to the Caribbean Sea. To alleviate size punishment, the palms are concentrated in the Pacific coast and turquoise water instead, here are blessed by waves.

Many foreigners come to the city with a board under his arm and pointing to the horizon view, The waves have turned this place into a universal claim for surfers. Alfonso, our camera, also has the water spirit and tamed as many waves on the beaches of Argentina. This was definitely a nerve recording, of a type that fits exactly what you want to be at that moment: a surfer in Freedom.

The sea always goes mad in the surf and not easy to fight the tide for poor fishermen.

When I approached the boardwalk, understand how waves influence the ways of the city. While men seek to tame the waves, flying boats here. The sea always goes mad in the surf and not easy to fight the tide for poor fishermen. In order to enter the ocean without fighting with him, men have invented a system of hooks down the boats, that amerizan from the air, far from shore.

The port is a bustle of hammerhead sharks, ladies making the purchase, opportunistic pelicans flying boats going up and down. Our passage through the Savior was defined by the charm of the little things. This is a modest country, smaller than the province of Badajoz and among the jungles and volcanoes, people seem recessed into the sea. In La Libertad was more explicit the relationship of man and ocean, as if everyone had shipwrecked vocation.

In La Libertad was more explicit the relationship of man and ocean, as if everyone had shipwrecked vocation.

The sea fills their fishing nets and sea tourists come, food tastes like ocean and waves are the soundtrack. The market women and youth on the tables share here a look of salt and wind-tousled hair Pacific.

When finished recording, Alfonso turned the camera with the impatience of a child after the digestion. Someone left a table and ran down the beach to ride the wave crests. The last shot of this video is starring Alfonso Negron, which is usually behind the camera. Also in that Liberty changed the rules of the game.

* To end this post I found that the population of La Libertad, in the year that we were there, was 35.997 inhabitants. With the three of us reached the 36.000.

    Very well put the title!
I've never seen pelicans flying boats or people mixed. And as always, comparisons you use to explain sensations or feelings, are spot: » En La Libertad era más explícita esa relación de hombre y océano, como si todos tuvieran vocación de náufragos» o «Cuando terminamos de grabar, Alfonso turned the camera with the impatience of a child after the digestion. Alguien le dejó una tabla y corrió por la playa para subirse a las crestas de las olas.»
It has made me very funny redondeárais the number of inhabitants during your stay.
